Privacy Notice

This notice is provided by TECHNOFOOD KİMYA GIDA KATKILARI İTHALAT İHRACAT PAZARLAMA SANAYİ VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ as data controller, in accordance with Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").

In short

This website uses no cookies and does not store your IP address. That is why you are not shown a cookie consent banner. You only send us personal data directly if you fill in the contact form.

When you only browse the site

We count how many times each page has been viewed. What is stored permanently is: the time of the view, the page type and code, the page language, the country and region your connection came from, only the domain name of the site that referred you (not the search term or page address; for example "www.google.com"), a campaign tag if our own link carried one, and coarse classes derived from your browser information: device type (desktop / mobile / tablet), browser family and operating system. The browser information itself is not stored.

How your IP address is processed

To determine the country and to count how many distinct visitors arrived during a day, a truncated form of your IP address is processed temporarily:

The server zeroes the last part of your IP address (for example 88.99.100.7 is recorded as 88.99.100.0). Your full address is never written down.
Country and region are resolved from this truncated address using a local database on our own server; no external service is contacted.
For same-day unique counting, an irreversible digest is produced from the truncated address and your browser information using a key specific to that day.
The truncated address and browser information are then deleted. They remain on the server for a few hours at most and are never written to the database.

The key used to produce the digest changes every day and is deleted the next day. The same visitor therefore produces a different digest on two different days; linking your visits across days is technically impossible. Unique visitor counts are consequently meaningful only within a single day.

This digest is used only to count, within the same day, which page a visit started and ended on and how many pages were viewed (a "session"). The stored result (country, region, device type and daily totals) does not identify any individual.

When you submit the contact form

Data processed: full name, company, e-mail address, telephone number, country and whatever you write in your message. The IP address at the moment of submission is also recorded, solely to prevent abuse.

Purpose: to answer your request and to run quotation and sample processes.
Legal basis: necessity for the conclusion or performance of a contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c) and legitimate interest (art. 5/2-f).

Legal basis for measurement

Visit measurement relies on legitimate interest (KVKK art. 5/2-f), for the purpose of understanding how the site is used and improving its content. Since nothing is stored on your device and nothing is read from it, your explicit consent is not required.

Embedded map — only with your consent

On pages containing our contact details, a location map from Google Maps is offered. This map does not load by itself. When the page opens you only see an information panel; no request is sent to Google until you press the consent button.

Once you consent, the map content is loaded from Google's servers. In doing so your IP address and browser information are transmitted to Google, Google's third-party cookies may be written to your device, and that data is transferred abroad. These operations take place under Google's own privacy policy.

Legal basis: your explicit consent (KVKK art. 5/1). Your consent is not stored anywhere; when you reload the page the map is closed again. If you prefer not to consent, you can use the "get directions" link without loading the map, or simply use our address directly.

Transfers

No third-party analytics, advertising or profiling service is used; all processing, including country lookup, takes place on our own servers. Apart from the embedded map described above, which loads only with your consent, your personal data is not transferred abroad.

Retention

The truncated IP address and browser information are deleted within a few hours. The daily digest key is deleted the following day. Country, region and view totals do not identify any individual and are likewise deleted automatically at the end of the configured retention period. Data you send through the form is kept for the period required by applicable legislation after your request is concluded, and is deleted thereafter.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about it, to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly, to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, to request erasure or destruction, to request that such actions be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred, to object to results arising from automated analysis, and to claim compensation for damages.
